#Sauvblancday Celebrate Sauvignon at Diemersdal
The South African winelands will join the rest of the world in celebrating International Sauvignon Blanc Day on 7 May this year, and with good reason. Not only are some of the best Sauvignon Blanc wines in the world made in the Cape winelands, but this grape cultivar is responsible for South Africa’s most popular and most valuable white wine category.
Join the Diemersdal Team on the 7th of May for International Sauvignon Blanc Day to “Celebrate Sauvignon”. The event will be held in the Diemersdal Cellar, hosted by Thys Louw and his winemaking team in collaboration with the Diemersdal Eatery. On the menu is going to be fresh fish and seafood paired with International Sauvignon Blancs from four different countries and of course an award winning line up of Diemersdal Sauvignon Blancs. This will be a relaxed and casual event, filled with a great selection of exciting wines from around the world.
From Tuesday the 4th of May till Saturday the 8th of May for lunch we will be serving a Sauvignon Blanc Inspired Chef’s Tapas for two at R600.
